Jess Winkle is an E-200, 500 hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). She specializes in grief workshops, teaching 1:1 clients, and facilitating yoga retreats. She is from the United States, but is currently based in Auckland, New Zealand.
She first discovered her passion for yoga in the midst of her grief journey in 2016. She fell in the love with the community, peace, and clarity that yoga brought her and immediately knew she wanted to share this beautiful practice with everyone.
Jess was awarded the “2017 Yoga Alliance Aspiring Teacher Scholarship” that allowed her to complete her training anywhere in the world.
She completed both her 200 hour training in 2018 and 300 hour training in 2019, both with Johnny Nasello.
She has since taught full-time in studios and retreat centers in Australia and the United States. She has also assisted Johnny with a 200 hour training in Thailand.

I fully believe life is about making connections and I hope that on our journey we will have the opportunity to connect.
On your mat you are accepted as you are and with me you have permission to be yourself fully. The energy we cultivate in class is the energy I want us to radiate in life.
One of the most important things I want my students to feel when attending my class is radical acceptance! I want to be a walking reminder that no matter what stage in life you are currently in physically, spiritually, or emotionally… it is accepted and okay.
