Italy is a warm-hearted, generally friendly, and beautiful country. There is a reason that it is highly romanticized in film and literature. That’s because Italy is stunning!
Italy is world renown for its amazing foods, historic architectures, remnants of ancient civilization, and wine that is cheaper than water.
That being said, you should maintain the same cautions and precautions that one should hold in tourist areas or big cities anywhere. Don’t leave your belongings unattended, and know that anyone randomly trying to help you with your bags for no reason will probably expect some money from you. Pick pockets can be prevalent in some of the major tourist areas.
Outside of the tourist areas, friendliness and hospitality are sincere. Depending on where you travel in Italy, there may be a language barrier, as Italians tend to speak…Italian.
